Obituary Notice

November 24, 2009 By Ben Sclair

Dolores Joan Pendleton Age 77 passed away peacefully on November 22, 2009. She was born in Tacoma on September 26, 1932 to Dalton and Creta Duncan. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Tacoma and the University of Wisconsin. She married Robert Pendleton in August, 1953. She worked for many years at Puget Sound National Bank and later Columbia Bank. She was an Assistant Vice President and Risk Manager at Columbia Bank at the time of her retirement in 2002. She enjoyed flying airplanes in her 60’s. She also enjoyed traveling, her friends and most of all her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert in January, 1989. She is survived by her daughters Karyn (Allen Hart), and Kristine (Bruce Johnson); grandchildren Maggie (Don Tremble), Kevin Johnson and Emily Johnson; great granddaughter Alise Tremble. She is also survived by her sister Gloria (Charles Neagle) and loving nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff and residents at Stafford Suites in Sumner and Life Care Center of Puyallup for their loving and special care. Funeral Services are at Mountain View Funeral Home in the Garden Chapel on Friday, November 27th at 1:00pm. Visitation will be from 10:00-noon at the main building prior to the service.
