The Lakewood Playhouse is need of a bit of help for two upcoming shows. Dressers are needed for ‘A Tuna Christmas’ and two-three backstage crew members needed for Tom Sawyer. Read below for details and contact information.
A TUNA CHRISTMAS!
Tuna Christmas is a joint production of TLT and Lakewood. We are looking for dressers for the show. Did you see Greater Tuna last year with Marcus Walker and Scott Campbell? These talented actors play about 20 different characters in the show with a slew of crazy costume changes. The dressers are the people that help with these quick changes. It is a significant time commitment – you must be available for the entire run of the show which plays two weekends at Lakewood Playhouse and two weekends at Tacoma Little Theatre. Let us know if you are interested and we will email you an attached schedule. There is a small stipend. Please contact the stage manager Amber Rose Johnson at email@example.com or 253-906-4508. Or you can always reply to this email or call the box office at 253-588-0042 to leave a message.
Be a part of this fun-filled adventure by joining us as a crew member! TOM SAWYER the musical needs 1 Assistant Stage Manager and 1 or 2 other backstage crew members to assist with performances of the show. This is a fun and fast paced environment and the cast is filled with fun people!
The ASM must be over the age of 18. And we would prefer adults as well for the other backstage crew, though a responsible teenager would also be okay.
The show runs 4 weekends. Two weekends in December, 12/10-12/20, we then take a break for the holidays, and come back for two weekends in January, 1/7 – 1/17. We play Fridays and Saturdays @ 8pm, Sundays @ 2pm. There are two Thurdsay night performances and a couple Saturday matinee performances. There is also one school performance on Tuesdays Jan. 12 @ 9:30am. We will need crew members to attend a run thru of the show and then be with us on a regular basis beginning 12/1 @ 7pm.
If you are interested and available or need more information please contact the stage manager, Brie Yost at firstname.lastname@example.org or you can reach her on her cell phone (435) 764-5489. You can also call the box office at (253) 588-0042 and leave a message.Print This Post
