Lakes and CP set to select Daffodil Princesses

November 12, 2009 By Ben Sclair

Lakes and Clover Park High Schools will select their 2009 Daffodil Princesses in two separate ceremonies. Lakes’ ceremony is Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. in the school’s new Performing Arts Center (PAC). Clover Park’s ceremony is Thursday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. in the school’s PAC.

Princess candidates must be seniors with a 3.2 grade point average or better. Daffodil Princesses represent their high school throughout the Daffodil Festival and compete for the title of “queen” in March 2010. This year’s Festival theme is “Carousel of Spring.” Be sure to save the date for the Grand Floral Parade, Saturday, April 10, 2010.
