FarrellLawrenceLarry J. Farrell June 15, 1942 – Oct. 29, 2009 Larry was born in Sewell Chili, and moved to Tacoma when he was five years old. He worked as a glazier for over 30 years. He is survived by his friend Deborah Pate, ex-wife Carol, sons Glenn and Dale, 3 grandchildren, Savannah, Brian and Olivia. A memorial service is being held in the Mountain View Garden Chapel at 1pm on Nov. 7, 2009 Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252. Helen L. (LaCoursiere) Hoffman Jan. 11, 1921-Oct. 30, 2009 Helen was born and raised in Tacoma. She was one of four children and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1938. She was a proud member of the Salvation Army. Later she worked at Fort Lewis and retired as chief of the civilian payroll section in 1973. Helen was a wonderful, loving wife and mother who also enjoyed her many animal friends. Helen has left behind her sister Rose, son Wayne (Dorothy), daughter Tina (Alan), grandchildren Kimberlee and Angela, and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as many friends, all of whom will truly miss her. Viewing will be held from 10:00-2:00 and 6:00-9:00, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA. Charles Edward Whitson Charles E. (Chuck) Whitson, 65, Loving Husband, Father, and Papa passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family and friends October 30, 2009. Chuck was a decorated war veteran of Vietnam war. He survived by his wife Phyllis of 42 years, 6 children: Bill(Veronica), Bud(Linda), Ron, Rick(Susy), Carol(Keith), and Patti(Steve). 9 brothers and sisters, 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Services will be held at 10am November 5, 2009 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints~ 6901 224th St E. Graham, WA 98338. Graveside services at Mountain View~4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW.
