Pickles, Berger buyout Cornerstone founders

October 28, 2009 By Ben Sclair

Bob and Deanna Cleaveland, founding partners of Cornerstone Financial Strategies LLC in University Place, have announced the recent sale of their firm to Bill Pickles and Brad Berger, the firm’s managing partners. Terms of the sale call for the Cleavelands to remain in their current roles for the next two years. The couple founded their comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory firm in early 1999 in Tacoma, moving to University Place in 2003. Each bringing over 18 years experience to Cornerstone, Pickles joined the firm in 2007 and Berger late last year. In ten years, the firm has grown to seven team members.
