While there’s no guarantee the large yellow globe will appear there on Oct. 30, there will be lots of illuminated pumpkins on the property that night. That’s the date for the annual pumpkin walk at the Steilacoom Historical Museum.
Between 5:30-7:30 p.m., costumed youngsters are invited to walk the golden gourd-lighted paths between the museum and the Orr Home, then enjoy cider and donuts at the Museum.
This free event is open to young children and their parent/guardians, according to SHMA Education Committee Chairman Judy Hopkins.
A full-scale Haunted House, located at Main Street, opens at 7:30 for older kids. There is an admission fee for this scarier event.
Pumpkins, carved by Builders Club students from Pioneer Middle School, will be on display Friday evening only.
Don’t miss the great pumpkin walk!
