Robert W. Hagen was born July 7, 1938, and passed away September 26, 2009 in Tacoma, WA. He is survived by his loving wife Dessie Lucile Hagen, his children Matthew Hagen, Leilani Hagen, and Daniel Hagen, stepchildren Jeffri Walters, Diana Walters, Terry Hoene, and Darryl Walters, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his brother Michael (Darlene) Hagen. Funeral services will be held 3 pm Friday, October 2, 2009 at the Mt. View Garden Chapel. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252. Margarett (Maggie) Duvall Peterson Born June 11, 1929 in Raymond, Washington; passed away September 26, 2009. Survived by her son David Peterson of Federal Way and daughter Karen Fellows of Birmingham, England; sister Judi Dykes of Bellevue and brother Clark Duvall of Lakewood; and former husband and beloved friend Warren Peterson of Seattle. Memorial service will be October 2, 2009, 12 noon, at Mountain View Memorial Park, Lakewood, in the Garden Chapel. Maggie loved flowers, which are welcome. Ruthmarie TennentRuthmarie Tennent, 86, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2009. She was born on March 3, 1923 in Tacoma, Washington. Ruthmarie graduated from Lincoln High School in Tacoma and went on to get her teaching degree from Pacific Lutheran University. She served the students of the Franklin Pierce School District for 30 years as a Special Education Teacher. Ruthmarie’s favorite hobby was her grandchildren. Ruthmarie is survived by her son, Chuck and his wife Annie Tennent; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; daughter, Barbara Dornan and brother, George Rodenberger. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Mt. View Funeral Home, Garden Chapel. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252.

Anne SandAnne Louise Sand (Mama Lou) Family, Friends, Flannel, Flowers Born Anne Louise Neumiller June 8, 1929, passed away September 25, 2009, leaving behind daughters Judy Reed (Rene’), Patty Allen (Ed), Kathy Martin, and Barb Monroe (Damon). Also missing her are 6 grandchildren: Jerry, Sean, David, Melissa, Christopher, and Semmelle, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. Over the years Lou became “Mom” to many, either through friends of her children or folks she met while bartending. Lou loved life, cherished her friends, felt happiest in her flannel shirts or flannel nightgowns, and was proud of her gardens. She spent many happy hours crocheting blankets for baby charities and others. Please join us at a celebration of Lou’s life which will be held graveside at 12:30 PM at Mountain View Memorial Park Oct. 1st, 2009. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 253-584-0252.
