Bank exec earns PCBS degree

September 28, 2009 By Ben Sclair

Quinn Zander-ConnQuinn Zander-Conn, Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Lakewood’s Northwest Commercial Bank, was recently graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School, according to Kurt Graff, bank President and CEO.

Pacific Coast Banking School, in partnership with the Graduate School of Business at the University of Washington, offers a three-year, graduate-level course. It is nationally recognized as the Premier National Graduate School of Banking.

Zander-Conn is a native of Puyallup and graduated from Rogers High School before attending Western Washington University where he earned a degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance. He also attended St Martin’s University for related accounting courses.

Before joining Northwest Commercial Bank in 2006 as assistant to CFO George McNelly, Zander-Conn spent three years at Columbia Bank.

Northwest Commercial Bank is a full service bank specializing in serving individuals and small businesses. “Our experienced bankers make the difference and our customers have shown that they were ready for more individualized service. We believe we can provide all of our customers the type service shown only to private banking clients at other banks,” Graff pointed out.

Located at 5726 100th Street SW in Lakewood, Northwest Commercial Bank also operates a branch in Auburn, a loan production office in Puyallup and recently opened its mortgage banking division, Northwest Mortgage Capital Group. Graff said a Private Banking Department was implemented in August, headed up by Ed Fisher. The bank opened in 2002.
