Lakes’ Wilson named Seahawks/U.S. Army Player of the Week

Willis Wilson, a Lakes High School senior and son of Jack and Faye Wilson of Lakewood, was named Player of the Week by the Seattle Seahawks and U.S. Army for dedication to academics, community involvement, leadership, reliability and weekly game performance.

Willis, a varsity running back, receives two tickets to the Seahawks vs. Bears football game along with two pregame sideline passes, recognition on the jumbotron, a jersey, football and recognition on the Seahawks’ Web site. A $250 donation will also be made to Lakes High School in Wilson’s name

Lakes will recognize Wilson on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 11:15 a.m. in the school’s new Performing Arts Center (10320 Farwest Drive SW in Lakewood). Representatives from the Seahawks and the Army will be there to present the award.
