Robert Nicholas Aulani Sheetz Was born on December 21, 1984, and left us on September 11, 2009. Robert is survived by his parents Dave and Christine Kapiolei Sheetz, brother Adam (Katie Sundee) Sheetz, sister Amanda (Joe) McCoy, grandparents Mike and Lou Sheetz and Connie Balderson, uncles Ken (Jennie) Sheetz, Dan (Denise) Balderson, and Ben Balderson, cousins Chris and Felicia Sheetz, and many more beloved family and friends. Ann O. Miller Died on September 15, 2009 in Lakewood, Washington. She was born on September 24, 1913 in Sidney, Montana. At age eight she survived a tornado in which her mother was killed. She married LaVern E Miller in 1933. They came to Seattle in 1941 when Boeing hired LaVern. Ann found jobs in food service. After retirement, they moved to the Land Yacht Harbor in Lacey and became active in the Wally Byam Caravan Club. Ann started oil painting at this time and many of her family and friends have examples of her work. She was widowed in 1989 and moved to Tacoma nine years later. Her final home was in “Sunshine’s Haven”, a wonderful adult family home with 24 hour care. She was well treated there and was comfortable and happy. After a massive stroke, Franciscan Hospice helped with her care the last months of her life. Through all of these changes, her mind remained alert and she retained her sense of humor. Ann is survived by her daughter, Norita (Dugald) Stewart, grandson Stephen (Helen Nuckolls) Liebelt, granddaughter Cynthia (Atsuyuki) Naka, and three great-grandsons, Kenneth Naka, Thomas Naka, and William Liebelt. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, September 27th at 2:00 PM at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 6730 N. 17th, Tacoma, WA. TOGETHER AGAIN Lawrence S. Castleman, SFC ARMY RETIRED Born on November 17, 1921 in Shelbyville, Bedford County, Tennessee; passed away september 15, 2009 in Tacoma, WA. SFC Castleman served his country during World War II and saw tours in North Africa, Italy, France and Germany. He met and married his wife Erika while in Germany. They moved to Tacoma, where they resided for 49 years. Retiring from the service, SFC Castleman began a career with the State Correctional System in various supervisory positions, retiring after 20 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Erika, parents Martha J. and Charlie M. Castleman, sisters and brothers and lifelong friend Loretta Armstrong. He is survived by his niece Birtie Mai Owens, great niece Betty Chunn, other relatives, lifelong friend MiltonJ. Armstrong, godchildren Monica L. Stevens, Richard L. Armstrong, Diana M.
