OptumHealth to hold community meetings

September 20, 2009 By Ben Sclair

As the new Regional Support Network for Pierce County, OptumHealth has been managing mental health care services since July and has been working closely with consumers, families and providers to ensure a smooth transition of these services. On October 1, OptumHealth Pierce RSN will enter a new phase with important changes to the Crisis Response System and is offering three opportunities for Pierce County residents to meet the new providers of mental health crisis services, learn about the transition plan and participate in a conversation about mental health services in Pierce County.

Wednesday, Sept. 23, 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Greater Lakes Mental Health Center, 9330 59th Avenue S.W., Lakewood, WA 98499. For more information, visit www.optumhealthpiercersn.com or call 866-673-6256.
