The fifth annual Clover Park School District All-City Tailgate is this Friday, Sept. 11 adjacent to Harry Lang Stadium, behind Clover Park High School. All students, staff and community members are invited and encouraged to attend this free event. Festivities run from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., prior to the Lakes High School football game against Peninsula.
The event celebrates the new school year and acknowledges the cooperative relationships the district has with city and military partners. The event also showcases students and school programs. In addition to live entertainment, a variety of activities and booths will be available.
Hotdog meals, which include a hot dog, chips or pretzels or carrot sticks, and a bottle of water, will be for sale for $1. School and community groups will also have food items for sale as fundraisers. Be sure to stop by the Community Relations booth for your free gift and don’t miss Rhubarb, the Tacoma Rainiers’ mascot, who will make a special appearance.
