Arthemise (Pat) Rackleff Pat passed away August 15, 2009 at the age of 93. She was born in Marshfield, OR in 1916, and married Angus (Gus) Rackleff in 1936. She lived in Europe, Japan, and many U.S. locations as a military wife. She lived in Lakewood, WA since 1960, and was a member of the St. Frances Cabrini church. She was a 15-year volunteer with the Red Cross at Madigan Army Hospital, also St. Clair Hospital for several years, and at the Lakewood Food Bank. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Angus Rackleff, and all her siblings, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by sons George (Linda) Rackleff of Puyallup, WA, Brian Rackleff of Winlock, WA, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Our entire family would like to thank the in-home caregivers, especially Debbie and Steve. Your love and dedication made Mom’s last years full of life and love. Funeral service will be at Mountain View Funeral Home, Lakewood, WA, on August 20, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Celebration of Life Center/Aspen Chapel. Sisul JohnWilliam “John” Sisul John was born August 23, 1935 in Tacoma to Elizabeth and John Sisul. He graduated from Bellermine High School where he was known for his football and basketball talent. He was well known in sports circles. He received a scholarship to Portland State University for basketball. After that time, he was recruited by Idaho State University to play football on a scholarship. John taught school at Holy Cross for several years and retired from Fick Foundry. His survivors are his wife Joan; his sisters JoAnn Sisul, Judy (Darrol) Smith, and brothers Tom and Dick Sisul; his step-sons Mark Longrie (Joy), Larry Longrie(Connie), and the delight of his life his two granddaughters Kelsey and Amberose Longrie; John was preceded in death by his brother Frank; and his faithful and talented garage-sale dog Mikey. The memorial service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church in Lakewood on August 23, 2009 at 3 pm. The family suggests donations to either St. Joseph’s Dialysis Unit, Christ Lutheran Church or Tacoma Rescue Mission. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 253-584-0252.
