Teachers are busy moving into the new Pathways Building–part of Phase One construction of the new Lakes High School–and setting up their classrooms in preparation of the first day of school, Wednesday, Sept. 9. The Pathways Building includes a Performing Arts Center, science laboratories and classrooms, music rooms, computer labs and a portion of the new library.
Old buildings have been demolished to make room for site preparation for Phase Two construction, which includes the gym, pool, classrooms and offices.
The public is invited to a community preview of Phase One construction of the new high school (10320 Farwest Drive SW in Lakewood) Thursday, Sept. 3, from 4-7 p.m. For more information, call Clover Park School District’s Community Relations Department at 253-583-5040.
