Peter Braun Sr. Was called to Heaven to be with the angels. He will be forever loved and missed by his children Peter Jr., Erika and Willie, grandchildren Taylor, Peter III, Zachary, Jessica (Lyn), Nichalus, and Andreas, and best friends Maxy and Deedee. Maxie W. Fields Sr. On July 13, 2009, Maxie W. Fields Sr., 88, peacefully made his final journey to abide forever with his Lord and Savior. Born February 27, 1921 to Tollie Fields and Cynthia Hull in Learned, Mississippi, he was the second of ten children. He was preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Melissa A. Dawkins. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce M. Fields, his brother Coolidge Fields of Jackson, MS, his children, Phillip L. Fields, Sharon Gilmore (Fields), Maxie W. Fields, Jr., Barbara J. Fields, Patricia D. Fields and Elder Michael W. Fields, sixteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Viewings will be at Mountain View Funeral Home on Saturday, July 18th from 1:00AM – 9:00PM and Sunday July 19, 9:00A – 9:00PM. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., Bethlehem Baptist Church, 4818 East Portland Avenue Tacoma, Washington. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252. Alrick A. Hendricks Jr. Was born on November 11, 1990 in Tacoma, WA. He departed this life on Sunday July 12, 2009. He was a loving person with a smile that could light up any room. Daniel Vincent McElligott Sr. of Tacoma, passed away July 13, 2009 at age 76. Mr. McElligott served the citizens of the United States for 50 years. He was a 30-year U.S. Army combat veteran, retiring as a CW4 in 1983, followed by a 20-year Civil Service career, also with the Army. Mr. McElligott was preceded in death by his first wife Loretta Jennifer McElligott, and is survived by his wife Sukie, four sons, eleven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He’s also survived by two sisters and three brothers. Services will be held at 11 AM July 20, 2009 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Spanaway, followed by a 2:15 PM interment at Tahoma National Cemetery. Donna E. Pratt was born July 19, 1926 in Tacoma, WA and passed away July 15, 2009 in Tacoma, WA. Donna was preceded in death by her son, Mark Pratt, in 1991 and by her husband, Oliver Pratt, in 1997. She is survived by her children, Rhonda Hinshaw and Paul Pratt, and by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Viewing will be 1:00-9:00 PM on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA.
