It’s sad to see there was little mentioned in Sunday’s News Tribune.
My son played in the East/West All star football game in Everett last Saturday. He was the only player selected from Lakes High School and played for the East Squad. The East beat West 13-12. A close and action-packed game.
I just felt a local star athlete should be recognized, 60 players selected from all of Washington’s 3A and 4A schools. That’s the top of the top. Just wanted to share the proud news.
Tui is headed to Idaho State University on a full ride football scholarship.
