Fae D. Harrison, 64, went home to be with the Lord on June 6, 2009. Her mother Jewel Williams; her daughters Debra, Veronica, and Venus; her seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren remain to celebrate her life. Fae enjoyed the outdoors and viewing Washington’s lovely scenery. She enjoyed life and taught those around her all about the value of family. Barto Elliott Cooley passed away at Franciscan Hospice House on June 11, 2009 at the age of 94. He was born January 3, 1915 in Grand Forks, N.D. to Fay and Bertha and was the fourth of 13 children. In 1980 he retired after 31 years from Hygrade Meat Packing Plant as a member of UFCW union #554. During his retirement years Barto kept busy working on a number of woodworking projects and enjoyed the challenges of word search puzzles. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marvel; sisters Eyvonne and Edith; brothers Bob and Gene; children Leroy, Elverne and Sharon (Ray) Davenport; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be on June 16 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Mt. View Funeral Home with graveside service on June 17 at 11:30 am. Memorial service at 1:30 pm on June 17 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 140 E. 56th St., in Tacoma, with reception following. Tyrone Hugh DuPont, Lakewood, Washington, passed away 10 June 2009 at the age of 61 years old, after a long illness. Tyrone was born in Portland, Oregon to Hugh DuPont and Imogene DuPont Ferrell on 9 June 1948. Tyrone was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. Tyrone DuPont’s family was the love of his life, and is survived by his mother Imogene, his son Cody DuPont, daughter Lindsey Jean DuPont, and brothers Byron DuPont (Linda), Greg DuPont, stepsister Judy Lesch (Jerry) and stepbrother Mike Ferrell. Tyrone lived most of his life in Portland, Oregon, and attended Vestal Grade School, Madison High School and Portland State University; took Sabbatical during his senior year to tour nine European Countries and the United States. His business experience was sales mostly for the General Foods Company. Tyrone loved people and was the happiest when talking to many friends and relatives about school days and their experiences and traveling to make people laugh and be happy. He especially liked to work with young people like coaching Little League and Babe Ruth baseball, which he thoroughly enjoyed and was a very good coach. His favorite sport, above all, was fishing on the coast, camping, baseball, golfing and he was an excellent photographer. The funeral services will be held at Mt. View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd., Tacoma, Wa. at the Aspen Chapel, 17 June 2009 at 1PM. Officiant will be Pastor Schmidt from the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Margold Audrey Hamilton July 30, 1914 ~ June 11, 2009 was full of life and loved by many, with her peaceful and positive outlook. Margold was preceded in death by her husband William and several family members. Survived by her sister Grace Marchesano, sons Jay (Joan), Bill (Janice), and grandchildren Jason, Sarah (Travis), Megan and Kelsey.
