Evette Mason from the Port of Tacoma will provide answers to these questions plus many more during the June 18 meeting of Lakewood Women in Business, according to program chair Tish Andresen. The noon meeting will be held at Oakbrook Country & Golf Club.
A few other items of interest that she will explain includes how many containers the Maersk ship can hold. The Maersk is a ship with a deck twice as long as a footbball field. In addition to her talk, Mason will also explain when free boat tours of Commencement Bay for a view of the Port and Tacoma are available.
Lakewood Women in Business is open to any Lakewood area woman interested in getting together with other businesswomen to discuss issues of interest to each other and about the community.
