Caring for Kids Ready to Learn Fair

June 2, 2009 By Ben Sclair

On August 15th Caring for Kids will hold its annual fair to help kids in need prepare for school in September. We are asking the community to help us.

What we need:

  • Volunteers
  • Good used and new kids clothing
  • New socks and underwear
  • School supplies
  • Backpacks
  • Hygiene products
  • New $1 toys
  • Monetary donations
  • Clubs, churches and organizations to have free fun booths of games, etc.

Last year we helped 1,833 kids celebrate the beginning of a new school year. At the end of April 67% of our kids were on free and reduced lunch, so we do need your help! Please contact Diane Formoso at 253-279-9777.
