At our May 15, 2009 board meeting, the board voted to appoint Pamela Maddess to fill the unexpired term of Bill Kittrell. We look forward to having Pamela as part of our dedicated team of volunteers.
If you are interested in serving on our eleven member governing board of directors (two year terms), please contact Evelyn Kelly or John Huber at our weekly Thursday meetings. We have six positions coming open and at this time, all six of the incumbents have chosen to serve again. The closing date for accepting candidates for the board will be 5 PM, May 29, 2009.
The dues for our next fiscal year, starting July 1, 2009 will be $20 per year which equates to less than 40 cents every Thursday. This is thanks to our volunteer board. Incidentally, our guest speakers only charge us the cost of a breakfast.
If you wish to make suggestions for future topics or speakers, please contact any of our board members, Sue Boguszewski, Hugh Hedges, John Huber, Kris Kauffman, Evelyn Kelly, Andrea Litton, Pamela Maddess, Mary Ann Miller, Kristi Roy, Mike Stevenson or Robin Rego.
For those of you who are only receiving this notice as a handout at the weekly meetings and would like to get it by email, please contact me at email@example.com and then confirm when you have received your first email from me.
