Sam Ross to Run for Lakewood City Council

April 30, 2009 By Ben Sclair

To better serve our community and its people, Sam Ross has announced he will run for Lakewood City Council in 2009.

Sam has lived in Lakewood his entire adult life, choosing our city after studying Criminal Justice and City Policing at the University of Washington. As an active leader in our community, he works with the Lakewood Lions and Relay for Life boards to outreach to the city and bring programs and services to our community that make it a better place to live. Currently, Sam serves as the Vice Chair of the Lakewood Public Safety Advisory Committee, working right alongside our police and using his expertise to help keep crime low, to keep citizens informed and educated, and to keep gangs off our streets.

Sam will bring his experience, his energy and his insight to the Lakewood City Council, and will help make our City a safe place to live, work, and raise your family. He hopes he can earn your support over the next few months, and looks forward to serving this City to the best of his ability.

Sam’s Kickoff will be Monday, May 11th 6:30-9pm at the Lakewood Library, 6300 Wildaire Rd SW. No RSVP necessary, everyone is welcome, snacks provided. If you have any questions please contact Sam at sam@electsamross.com or 253-235-2233.
