This is a special thanks to the Town of Steilacoom Land Care and Park group who helped in the beautification of Cormorant Park starting Sunday and Monday. The Park group provided many of the tools on Friday and removed the debris on Monday; the Land Care group bush-whacked the blackberry along Chapman Loop on Tuesday and a team of nine volunteers led by Karen Mclver, Cormorant Home Association President, cleared and cleaned up three garden areas on Sunday including the PK sign site. What great team work and a great start.
The ravine can now be seen from Chapman Loop. It is full of beautiful native plants and is a real Steilacoom treasure for all to view and visit.
Hope this type coordinated effort will last for years to come.
