The Fifth Grade of St. Mary’s Christian Schooll of Lakewood visited the Capitol on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, touring the grounds as part of their Social Studies curriculum.
The tour culminated with a visit to the Office of the Governor, where the students were able to meet Governor Gregoire, presenting her with a request to establish an Endangered Species Week. Accompanying the students were Principal Mr. Glen Lutz, Mrs. Elizabeth Koisch, classroom teacher, and Father Kendall Haynes, Rector.
