Lakewood, WA — Hands on-education meets fundraising and networking at new event. Clover Park Technical College will host a new fundraising event to help students and college programs make connections/raise dollars for programs at the Creative Living Event, Thursday, March 19th 5-8 pm in the McGavick Student Center (Building 23).
Designed to provide a tour of industry leading education, the new Creative Living Event promotes sustainability and allows students/faculty to interact with business and industry to make valuable connections.
The Creative Living Event is setup for students to network with employers and present their portfolios in a way that promotes, represents and educates local business leaders and corporations on the significance of technical education while allowing students and faculty to make industry connections. An auction at the event will help raise dollars for program innovation.
Amy Goings, Clover Park Technical College VP of College Relations/Foundation Executive Director said, “This event captures our students’ best work and provides them the opportunity to network with industry, while raising money for program innovation.”

Participating programs include Architectural Engineering, Automotive, Computer Networking and Information Systems Security, Aviation/Professional Pilot, Residential Construction, Culinary, Medical Esthetics, Environmental Science, Interior Design, Retail Marketing, Graphics/Media Design, HVAC, Manufacturing Technologies, Floral, Landscape Management and Radio Broadcasting.Print This Post
