Certainly there is interest in a farmers market. It’s easy to say that sitting here, “ideaing” in one’s mind about food choices…it’s the right one to make. However, will that translate into continued support and can the price draw consumers away from “mass produce”? Very difficult times (yet to actually take full grasp) may be one of the deciding factors.
I, for one, am much in favor of such a thing, but convenience is a big factor from a consumer standpoint. I’ve been waiting for a co-op situation, where you pay a member fee and do more substantial purchasing of a variety of foodstuffs/produce. My distrust and disappointment in most of what’s available generally in the world is huge!
