LAKEWOOD, WA — Lakewold Gardens has partnered with local award-winning artist and noted botanical art instructor, Louise Smith. From March 2nd-April 28th Louise will teach an eight week introductory watercolor class in botanical art at the gardens.
Louise Smith‚Äôs course is designed in a step by step fashion and is appropriate for seasoned and beginning artists alike. Students will learn the primary skills necessary for the completion of botanical watercolor. Homework is recommended though not required. For participant‚Äôs convenience, classes are offered during two time slots: Track 1–Mondays from 6:30pm-9:00pm beginning on March 2nd or Track 2–Tuesdays from 10:00am-12:30pm beginning on March 3rd.
The fee for this course is $200 for members of Lakewold and $225 for non-members.
