- DuPont, 1540 Wilmington Drive: Tuesday, Feb. 3
- Lakewood, 6300 Wildaire Road S.W.: Thursday, Jan. 29
- Steilacoom, 2950 Steilacoom Blvd.: February 10
- Tillicum, 14916 Washington Ave. S.W.: Tuesday, Feb. 10
“We want to hear from people of all ages about this exciting and significant project, so we can determine what library services and buildings are needed during the next 20 plus years,” said Neel Parikh, executive director for the Library. “The Library needs the community’s ideas and opinions to deliver services where, when and how they and their families will want them.”
The ideas will become part of a facilities master plan called: Pierce County Library 2030. Pierce County Library 2030 will form the basis for facility improvements, including potential future buildings, expansions or replacements of library branches.
The goals of the plan are to deliver contemporary services for today and tomorrow and to provide library buildings in convenient locations and of the appropriate sizes to meet the needs of growing and changing communities that the Pierce County Library serves.
