The Lakewood City Council will meet (Monday, November 24 at 7 pm) in Council Chambers (6000 Main Street SW, Lakewood). Following is the agenda:

( 1) Ordinance No. 479. Setting the 2009 property mill levy rate at $0.9998 per thousand dollars assessed value of taxable property in the city boundaries. – Assistant City Manager for Finance and Administrative Services

( 7) Motion No. 2008-54. Awarding a bid to Woodworth & Company, Inc., in the amount of $2,011,921.25, for the construction of street improvements on Bridgeport Way SW from 59th Avenue SW to Steilacoom Boulevard SW, a center turn lane north of 93rd Street SW and new signals at Gravelly Lake Drive and Steilacoom Boulevard (e1111). – Public Works Director

(16) Motion No. 2008-55. Awarding a bid to Western Pacific Signal, in the amount of $74,980, for the procurement of signal equipment associated with the Bridgeport Way SW street improvement project from 59th Avenue SW to Steilacoom Boulevard SW [e1111(SP)]. – Public Works Director

(20) Motion No. 2008-56. Authorizing the City Manager to execute Supplement No. 5 to an agreement with David Evans and Associates Inc., in the amount of $92,932.60, for construction engineering services for the Bridgeport Way street improvement project from 59th Avenue SW to Steilacoom Boulevard SW. – Public Works Director
