November 17, 2008, Steilacoom, Washington — Community 1st Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of the fourth branch for the credit union in Steilacoom, Washington on November 10, 2008. This branch is located on the corner of Wilkes and Rainer in the Port of Steilacoom Offices.
The ribbon cutting ceremony included Mayor Ron Lucas, members of the town chamber of commerce, members of the board of directors for Community 1st Credit Union, and a few individuals from local retailers, including Key Bank. The ribbon was officially cut by Ron Lucas and Don Rehburg from the Steilacoom Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Rehburg is also the longest running member of the Chamber of Commerce and his appearance was greatly appreciated.
