Community 1st Credit Union will celebrate the Grand Opening of the fourth branch for the Credit Union in Steilacoom on November 10, 2008 at 5 p.m. This branch is located on the corner of Wilkes and Rainer in the Port of Steilacoom Offices.
Community 1st Credit Union is dedicated to serving the Puget Sound, and as a previously underserved area, the expansion into Steilacoom only further enhances growth for the financial institution. Members benefit from the useful location, Saturday hours, and excellent service and products from this full service branch. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will include attendees such as Ron Lucas, the Mayor of Steilacoom, and Paul Loveless, Town Administrator.
Community 1st Credit Union was established in 1925. What originally began as a financial institution for the postal service workers of the Puget Sound area has grown into a credit union that anyone can join and benefit from! Anyone who lives or works in the state of Washington is eligible for membership. Lower interest rates, lower fees, no hidden costs to the member, and higher dividend yields set Community 1st Credit Union apart. As a member owned organization, the opinion of the member really matters. The Credit Union offers a full range of financial products and services to satisfy their needs, from simple checking and savings accounts to auto and home loans.
