Celebrate Halloween with the ‚ÄúPumpkin Walk‚Äù and ‚ÄúHaunted House‚Äù at the Steilacoom Historical Society Museum property (corner of Rainier and Main in Steilacoom) Thursday and Friday Oct. 30 and 31.
Drop off your carved pumpkin at the museum patio between 2 and 5 pm on Thursday Oct 30 and then come back with your family and friends to see all of the pumpkins lighted and glowing throughout the museum orchard from 5:30 ‚Äì7:30 Thursday and Friday.
Prizes will be awarded for the most creative, funniest, cutest and scariest jack-o-lanterns. Refreshments will be served.
New this year is a spooky ‚ÄúHaunted House,‚Äù open Thursday and Friday Oct 30 and 31. From 5:30 ‚Äì 7:30 the Haunted House will be ‚Äúless scary‚Äù for the little ones. It will then be ramped-up to ‚Äúmaximum scare tactics‚Äù from 7:30 to 9:30 for the older children.
This annual event is sponsored by the Steilacoom Historical Museum Association and Rise Up Youth Ministry.
