As many as 15 more Vote YES Prop. 1 signs in Oakbrook are gone, while the NO signs that were next to them are not. Add that to the 46 taken from Phillips Road and replaced in many cases with NO signs in the very same hole. What and who are we dealing with here? According to the Public Disclosure Commission, the casinos have now raised $151,605.37. Obviously that is enough money for their own signs so you do not have to take ours too! Of those dollars, only one of them evidently was contributed anonymously. Meanwhile Chips has chipped in $24,500, Macau $59,303.19, Palace $22,500 and Great American $45,302.18, all of whose owners and presidents sit on the No Steering Committee and none of whom live anywhere near our city. This campaign is being bought, sold and literally stolen by outside interests.
