Allen Edward Brumet Born in Elgin, OR 8-14-34, passed away 10-04-08, Puyallup. Beloved husband of 52 years to Patricia and devoted father to Kristine (Carl) Endsley, Karen Paulson, Sheila Brumet, and Ken (Moani) Brumet along with 5 Grandchildren and 1 Great grand child. Al grew up in Aberdeen, WA. Married September 1, 1956, they settled in Midland, WA. Al was known for his generosity and endearing personality, and was loved by many friends and family. His passion for fishing, boating, collecting and helping those he cared for was evident to all. Al retired from Good Sam. Hospital March 1997 after 19 years. A special thank you to the caring staff at Good Sam. Hospital Oncology and Cancer Center. We will dearly miss him, but look forward to seeing him in the future.
Helene Ann Sanchez was born Helene Dawson on January 9, 1958 in Tacoma, WA. She passed away on September 29, 2008 in Kansas. She is survived by her husband of 2 years, Ed, her mother Natalia Dawson, three children, Natalie Darling (Nicholas), Garrett and Kaylea Day, two brothers, Charles Dawson (Tracey) and Edward Dawson (Diana). She will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Viewing will be held Friday, October 10, 2008 from 3-9PM. Memorial service will be held the following day, Saturday, October 11, 2008, at 11AM at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood.
Doris Jean Larsen A longtime resident of Puyallup, Doris passed away at age 79 on October 7, 2008. She was born in Kansas City, Kansas on August 21, 1929 to Milton and Agnes Toburen. After graduating from Puyallup High School in 1947, she married Lawrence “Bud” Larsen, her loving husband of 60 years. For 20 years, Doris was an employee of Atlas Foundry, in Tacoma, retiring in 1984 as Data Processing Supervisor. Doris was a loving and devoted mother to Gary (Margo) and Linda (Doug); grandmother to Christopher (Karla), Kirsti (Chad), Nicholas (Candace), and Kenna; and great grandmother to Cody, Colten, Gracie, and Conner. Doris loved her family, bingo, and penny slot machines. She will be greatly missed by all of those fortunate enough to have had their lives touched by her. We love you forever, Mom, and will miss you always. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Mountain View Funeral Home, in Lakewood. Viewing will be on Friday, October 10, 3-9 pm. Memorial service to be held at 12pm on Saturday, October 11, at Mountain View’s Celebration of Life Center, with reception to follow.
