Remember the fancy blue glass exhibit installed at Steilacoom High School when the building was dedicated more than 25 years ago?
You‚Äôre excused if you never noticed it during all this time. The stained glass wasn‚Äôt in any noticeable place. Now, though, that the school has been modernized, the fragile artwork has been restored and placed in a more noticeable location–namely right inside the new entrance to the building. It‚Äôs pretty spectacular!
Take time to look at it the next time you’re in the building. It’s just one of many historic artifacts on display in the building.
One particular historic artifact is undergoing restoration and is expected to be on display during the next school open house next January.
What’s the artifact, you ask?
You’ll have to wait about five months to see it. It’s definitely worth the wait.
