Create your own altered book in a free workshop at one of two Pierce County Library System branches.
Recycle any book, old or new, into a work of art. The book can be rebound, painted, cut, burned, folded, added to, collaged in, gold-leafed, rubber-stamped, drilled or otherwise adorned. And, yes, it is legal!
Artist Charlene Phinney demonstrates the process and leads participants in creating altered books.
Adults may register for the two-part workshop at the library.
