The Asia Pacific Cultural Center (APCC) will be presenting a Polynesian Luau to honor and celebrate the Pacific Island cultures in our community. The event will be held on Saturday, August 9 from 3-7pm at the Sharon McGavick Conference Center on the grounds of Clover Park Technical College, 4500 Steilacoom Blvd. Tickets are $30 single, $50 couple, children 6 to 12 are $10. Tickets may be purchased on line at www.asiapacificculturalcenter.org, or at the door on the day of the event.
Proceeds from the Luau help APCC continue delivering programs of cultural interest to the community and benefit our cultural education programs. Promoting and safeguarding our intangible cultural heritage is of utmost importance to us. These practices, and knowledge of cultural traditions, are the foundation of one’s cultural identity. We exist to keep Asia Pacific cultures alive through providing opportunities and outlets of expression. Our Polynesian Luau is one example. Join us for an evening of good food, good friends and good fun! Support our Asia Pacific communities.
The Asia Pacific Cultural Center serves as an interactive cultural crossroads between local and international communities by bridging East and West through arts, culture, education and business.
