The City of University Place is hosting the second annual Mayor’s Invitational Golf Tournament Saturday, August 30 at the Chambers Bay Golf Course. The community-based event will be open to four-person teams who will compete in a “best-ball scramble” format. Individuals who wish to participate and are not a part of a team will be paired up to form teams based on player handicaps. A light continental breakfast and a buffet
lunch as well as the opportunity to earn prizes and awards are all included in the early-bird and regular registration fee of $195 per individual/$780 for four person teams, or $225 per person/$900 for four person teams after August 1. The final registration deadline for teams and individuals is August 19.
Proceeds from the event will support the development of the “BigToy by the Bay” structure on the North Meadow of the Chambers Creek properties.
