LAKEWOOD, WA — Lakewold Gardens is a popular destination for those seeking a respite from the daily bustle. However, in years past, visits were a daytime pleasure — until now. After repeated requests for extended hours to make the garden available during the long summer evenings, Lakewold Gardens is proud to announce its Summer Nights program. During Lakewold‚Äôs Summer Nights the garden will remain open until 8 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of June, July and August. The next opportunity visitors have to tour the garden or picnic with their family after work is Wednesday, July 9 — and thereafter on July 23, August 13 and 27. The complete list of Summer Nights dates can be found at the Lakewold Gardens website, www.lakewoldgardens.org.
In addition, The Garden Shop is celebrating its 15th year at Lakewold during Summer Nights with a 20% discount on all books and plants as a “welcome” and a “thank you”.
The Summer Nights program is made possible with support from John L. Scott Realty, Financial Design Group, and Waddell & Reed.
