The following letter is in responce to our newest survey about coffee barista’s and their attire, or lack thereof. To cast your vote, go to www.thesubtimes.com. The survey is at the top of the right column.
How about just being mature enough to patronize another coffee bar instead of ‘being offended’ by whatever the barista is wearing. If she/he can mix the perfect coffee, who cares what is the attire of the day; if the coffee is bad, then why are you shopping there anyway, except for the titillation?
On this note, how about a survey of ‘things which make you happy’ or ‘what coffee bar gives the best service’ or ‘where’s the best smile in town’? We all spend way too much time looking for the negative and then we wonder why things don’t please us. I don’t have time to be offended, I’m too busy patronizing those places which please me by giving good service and a good product.
