Community and staff members are invited to attend two public forums to meet candidates for Clover Park School District’s deputy superintendent and elementary school principal positions at Carter Lake and Park Lodge Elementary Schools. Information on each candidate will be available soon.
The public forums will be held Wednesday, June 11 for the deputy superintendent candidates and Thursday, June 12 for the elementary school principal candidates. Both forums begin 6 p.m. in room 4 of the Student Services Center, 10903 Gravelly Lake Drive SW, in Lakewood.
Current deputy superintendent Debbie LeBeau was named superintendent designee last month and will begin her duties as superintendent July 1.
Charlotte Clouse, Carter Lake Elementary School’s current principal, will replace Paul Nash at Southgate Elementary School next year. Nash has taken a principal position in Central Kitsap School District. Park Lodge Elementary School principal Deanna Keller has resigned to pursue professional opportunities in the private sector.
“We encourage students, parents, staff and community to come and ask questions and provide feedback,” explained Dr. Al Cohen, Clover Park School District interim superintendent.
