In our community there is a wonderful family struggling to prepare their home for the return of a wife and mother that is battling brain and throat cancer. She is married and they have four children – twin boys that are 11, a 14 year old girl, and 16 year old boy. The home must have adequate flooring for her ability to mobilize and for sterility of the premises as she continues her chemotherapy. We are neighbors and friends that have come together to help this local family in need that has been devastated by illness.
In the last month, volunteers have removed the carpets and been busy cleaning and painting in preparation for the return home of this deserving mother of four on chemotherapy and radiation therapy, struggling to survive. Now it is the time that we need to come together to put in laminate flooring (that has been donated by the Mary Haas Foundation) to make her house suitable to her current needs. The laminate should be easy to install as it is snap together laminate and already has the foam padding attached. If we work together we can get this project done! If you are unable to help, perhaps you know someone who is willing to spend a couple of hours helping out, that would be terrific!
Thank you ever so much for your consideration of assisting this wonderful family! We greatly appreciate it.
