LAKEWOOD, WA – Lakewold Gardens is a popular destination for those seeking a respite from the daily bustle. However, in years past, visits were a daytime pleasure – until now. After repeated requests for extended hours to make the garden available during the long summer evenings, Lakewold Gardens is introducing its Summer Nights program. During Lakewold‚Äôs Summer Nights the garden will remain open until 8 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of June, July and August. The first opportunity visitors will have to tour the garden or picnic with their family after work will be Wednesday, June 11, 2008. In addition, The Garden Shop is celebrating its 15th year at Lakewold. Stop by the Garden Shop during Summer Nights and receive a 20% discount on all books and plants as a “welcome” and a “thank you”.
