The Tacoma Mall JCPenney will be participating in the nation wide JCPenney After School Fund Round-Up to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs around the country. The first of three local Round-Up events began April 11 and will run through April 20th.
Customers will have the opportunity to make donations to the JCPenney Afterschool Fund at the register by rounding up their purchase to the nearest whole dollar. In turn, the JCPenney Afterschool Fund will donate all proceeds raised from the Tacoma Mall JCPenney to the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound for their after school program that provides life-enriching after school programs to children.
JCPenney will also be holding Round-Ups in August and during the holiday season in December.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound benefits over 11,800 children and teens at eight branches and 11 outreach sites in Pierce, Mason, and Kitsap Counties.
