The rapidly-growing Northwest Commercial Bank has added two highly-experienced and well-known bankers to its staff. Rod Clemmer has been named vice-president and manager of the bank’s new loan production office in Auburn at 2020 A Street SE. The bank has also added Lorna Hidalgo to its staff as an assistant manager in the new Auburn facility, reported Kurt Graff, CEO and president of the Lakewood headquartered bank.
Clemmer, most recently vice-president and manager of the South Auburn branch of Columbia Bank, will continue to offer personal service to clients in all areas of lending in the Auburn area. According to Graff, the bank plans to establish a full service Auburn branch in the very near future.
The new Northwest Commercial Bank loan officer has been in banking for 30 years. He started his career with Puget Sound National Bank after earning a degree in mathematics from the University of Puget Sound. Clemmer worked for Puget Sound before joining Key Bank for 15 years as manager of its Forest Villa branch in Auburn. Subsequently he worked for Cascade Community Bank and later Columbia Bank at the south Auburn branch as its manager for the last 14 years.
Clemmer, a native of Washington, grew up in Burien. He and his wife Penney make their home at Lake Tapps.
Hidalgo has been an assistant to Clemmer for the past 15 years at Cascade Community Bank and at Columbia Bank. She and her husband Joe, and two children, also live at Lake Tapps.
Northwest Commercial Bank’s main office is located at 5726 100th St. SW, Lakewood. It was organized by local business people in Pierce County and specializes in providing personalized service to small businesses and individuals. In addition to the main office and the new Auburn loan office, Northwest Commercial Bank also operates a loan office on South Hill in Puyallup.
