Monica L. Stevens has been appointed vice president and branch manager of Northwest Commercial Bank. Kurt Graff, President and CEO of the 5-year-old Lakewood-based bank, said the promotion is effective immediately.
Mrs. Stevens has been active in Pierce County banking for nearly 30 years. She joined Northwest Commercial Bank in 2004 where she has served as a commercial loan officer. In addition to retaining loan duties, Mrs. Stevens will supervise the customer service representatives and their interactions with customers.
Before joining the bank, Mrs. Stevens was manager of the Stadium Branch for Columbia Bank. She started her banking career with Puget Sound Bank.
Born at Ft. Lewis, Mrs. Stevens has lived in the area her entire life. She and her husband live in University Place. They have one daughter.
Northwest Commercial Bank is currently celebrating its fifth anniversary. During the last year Graff said the bank has grown dramatically in and has opened a loan production office in Puyallup. Plans are to expand the office into a full-service branch of the bank, according to Graff. The bank is located at 5726 100th St SW, Lakewood and the Loan Production Office is at 12515 Meridian E.
