The annual award is made by the 400-member Tacoma 8 Rotary Club after receiving nominations from all Rotary clubs in Pierce County. The award recognizes non-Rotarian residents of Pierce County for their service to the community that exemplifies Rotary’s call for “Service Above Self.”
In presenting the award to Dalton, Tacoma 8 President-Elect Steve Smith noted that Dalton “has responded to the needs in Lakewood. Through his leadership, children, the Clover PArk School system and the overall quality of the community have been improved. As a business leader, he is also recognized for his integrity and dedication.”
