Lois Irene Cox
Lois Cox was born October 14, 1929 and passed away on May 3, 2007. The daughter of William and Hazel Holz, Lois graduated from Stadium High School and from Clover Park Nursing School. She worked for several years as a licensed practical nurse at Western State Hospital in Tacoma. She lived and worked in Washington her entire life, primarily in or near Tacoma. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Cox and recently by her grandson Sgt. Travis Pfister.
She is survived by her three children: Steve Lowney; Jackie Pfister and husband Richard; and John Lowney and wife Pamela. Her sister Carol Wamberg and husband Gary. Four grandchildren: Jennifer, Brian, Shelly and Joshua. Six great grandchildren: Jake, Alex, Colin, Callie, Nathan, and Roman. Nephews Chris & Mike and niece Leslie.
Memorial Services will be held 1:00pm Thursday May 24th in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home.

Richard A. Mansfield
Richard A. Mansfield, age 48, died suddenly on Thursday, May 10, 2007 while on a business trip to Eastern Washington.
He was born December 15, 1958 in Tacoma at Tacoma General Hospital to Harry and Jean Mansfield, both natives of Washington. He attended Clover Park High School, graduating in 1977. Rich attended Yakima Valley Community College and graduated from Central Washington University in 1983. On December 17, 1988 he was united in marriage to Susan Y. Connolly, in Seattle, WA.
Rich was a long time employee of Reliable Furniture Service Inc. in Tacoma, a business started by his parents over 50 years ago. He was well known throughout the moving industry, recently attending the CPPC convention in St. Louis, MO. Richard and his family have lived in Yelm, WA since 1994 and before that in Lacey and Spanaway.
An avid hunter and outdoorsman, Rich was a member of the LaConner Chapter of Ducks Unlimited. He was deeply involved in his children’s sports, most recently coaching the Nisqually Knights, his son Joe’s team.
Rich is survived by his wife, Susan, and three children, Emily, 18; Jillian, 14; and Joseph, 11. He is further survived by his mother, Jean Button Mansfield, his sister Jeanice Jarvis and two nieces, Signi and Jeanette Jarvis. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Mansfield and his brother, Harry (Skip) Mansfield Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, May 20, 2007 at the Lakewood Elks Club, 6313-75th St W., Lakewood, WA, 98499.
