Bart Dalton, long time resident and active community volunteer, was recognized by Clover Park Rotary as the recipient of their annual Community Award for 2006-2007. Bart Dalton is a very active and prominent member of many community and civic groups in our local community. He is a Lakewood Kiwanis Club member, Lakewood Chamber of Commerce past Board Member, Lakewood Families in Business Club Chair, Past Clover Park Technical College Foundation Board of Director, Mentor for University of Puget Sound students, Boy Scout Volunteer Leader, active with the Lakewood’s Promise, Volunteer at Clover Park High School and Partners in Education, and a volunteer as the Chief Examiner for the Lakewood Fire District’s Civil Service Board. He also volunteers as a hiring team mentor and trainer in his spare time as an employee of the Edward Jones Company.
As winner of the Clover Park award, Mr. Dalton received a monetary award which he designated to be donated to The Kiwanis Clubs Bicycles to Heaven Program. As the club’s Community Award winner, Dalton is nominated for consideration in the Non-Rotarian Pierce County Community Service Award competition which will be conducted in mid-April 2007.
