Paul, Mary and Mark Webb at Monday night’s Lakewood City Council Meeting
Monday night before a packed council chamber, the Lakewood City Council issued a proclamation honoring Fire Chief Paul Webb. Webb’s accomplishments in the 38 years of service have been many that will be the foundation of the Lakewood Fire Dept for years to come.
The City of Lakewood did not want to let his tremendous contribution to the Citizens, the City, and the Fire Dept, go unnoticed by making this record official.
Chief Webb then presented the city council with a gift. A copy of an old advertisement stating the attributes of Lakewood with “lots for sale $100”, and “clean air”.
