Eric Broderick Nicholson

Rick was born July 5, 1951 in Flushing, NY. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, father Lloyd Nicholson of FL, and mother Merlene Nicholson of NY.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Patricia Darlene Nicholson, two sons, Eric B. Nicholson II and Christopher A. (Delia) Summers II of Tacoma, two brothers, Jeffery (Alee) Nicholson of New York and David (Bethnel) Nicholson of Atlanta, GA, 4 grandchildren: Chanell Summers, Christopher Summers III, Cassidy Summers, Cerenity Summers, in-laws Andrew and Pecolia Coley of Tacoma, brothers-in-law Greg Coley, Tacoma, Kevin Coley, CA, sisters-in-law Audrey Coley, Tacoma, Bronda Legacy, Tacoma, and Stacey Joseph (Michael), Maryland, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1-9pm TODAY, Friday, June 23, 2006 at Mountain View Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, June 24, 2006 in the Mountain View Garden Chapel.
Wilma M. Chandler
Wilma M. Chandler was born February 12, 1926 to Arthur W. and Mary Ann (Stepanek) McDonald and passed away on June 20, 2006 in Tacoma, WA. Wilma married Arthur E. Chandler, Sr. on May 5, 1948. Arthur preceded her in death on February 17, 2006.
She is survived by her children Linda, Laura, Arthur Jr. and his wife Cathy; grandchildren Taura and Brandon, great-grandchildren Derrick, Amber and Emma; sister and brother-in-law Sarah and Bob Shinn, brother-in-law Bill Crandell, bonus daughter Janelle Rucker, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She began a long career in banking during WWII. Wilma retired from First Interstate Bank in 1989 as an assistant Vice President. Wilma was one of the first women in banking in this area to receive that title. She was active in AIB and taught banking classes for both AIB and the bank for many years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, quilting and visiting casinos.
Wilma was very proud of her family and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. One of Wilma’s greatest joys was celebrating holidays with her family. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Monday, June 26, 2006, in the Mountain View Valley Chapel.
Alfred R. French
Alfred R. French passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 in Tacoma, his home for last 49 years. Born in Gulfport, MS on October 21, 1925, to Alfred and Zula French, he was raised with his sister Noma (Mays), who now lives in Memphis, TN.
Al proudly served his country for twenty years and was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War. While stationed overseas he met and married Betty, who became his loving wife for over 50 years. He retired from the US Air Force in 1968. He later retired from Glaxo Smith Kline in 1987.
He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. Al is survived by his wife Betty, daughters Kathleen Gallier (Larry) and Tammy French (Michael Coleman) and six grandchildren Andrea, Will, Peter, Natalie, Cole and Sam
Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm, Monday, June 26, 2006 at the Mountain View Funeral Home, Celebration of Life Center, Aspen Chapel.
Viewing will be 1-9pm Friday June 23, 2006 at Mountain View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Mt. Tahoma Baptist Church, Lakewood, WA
